Report
X-ray films, CT scan films, MRI films, and Ultrasound images should be collected from the nursing station at the time of discharge.
Discharge
Summery
The patient/attendant should collect one copy of the Discharge Summary prepared by the treating doctors before leaving the Hospital.
Detailed
Bill
A detailed bill is available on request from the Billing Section of the Accounts Department after discharge. The final bill or payment receipt must be produced to obtain the detailed bill.
Medical
Certificate
A medical certificate for the patient’s leave, rest, or fitness can be provided on request by the treating doctor at the time of discharge.
Emergency Certificate
Patients admitted through the Casualty can obtain an Emergency Certificate from the treating doctor on request.
Final Bill
Once the doctor advises discharge, the file is processed and the Final Bill is generated — this can take some time. The Final Bill is usually handed over between 4 pm and 5 pm. The patient may leave the ward only after settling the bill and obtaining a Clearance Certificate from the Cash Counter.

Bill
Once the doctor advises discharge, the file is processed and the Final Bill is generated. This process can take some time. Usually, the Final Bill is handed over to the patient/attendant between 4 pm and 5 pm. The patient is allowed to leave the Ward only after settling the bills and obtaining a Clearance Certificate from the Cash Counter.

Medicines
Return/Refund
Unused medicines can be be returned within 7 days with original bill and medicine in original packing for refund
Returning unused medicines and Consumables
Medicines and consumables purchased from the Hospital Pharmacy but not used may be returned for a refund, subject to the following conditions:
- Items must be in their complete original packing.
- Where applicable, they must have been stored at the appropriate temperature (must be verifiable).
- They can be returned within one month of the date of purchase.
- The original purchase receipt must be produced at the time of return.
Return counters and timings:
- General OPD Pharmacy Dispensary counter: 9:30 am to 5 pm (all working days)
- Private OPD Pharmacy Dispensary: 5 pm to 6 pm (all working days)
A Refund Voucher is issued against returns and must be presented at the Cash Counter for the refund. The mode and timeline of the refund depends on the original payment method.
Refund will be made in the same mode as the original payment.
Original receipt is mandatory for any refund
Medicines can be returned at the Pharmacy wiithin7 days of purchase.
Refunds are processed as per Hospital policy and verification.
Note: If the original receipt is not available, submit a written application to the Medical Superintendent for a duplicate receipt (nominal charge applies).
