Assessment of Cost and Advance Payment

Once the doctor has written for admission, the patient or relative may visit the Assessment Office to get an approximate cost estimate. The estimate is indicative only — actual treatment may vary from what was planned.

  • The patient/relative will need to pay an advance as advised by the assessment officer at the time of admission.
  • For patients admitted through Casualty: attendants should deposit the fixed advance within 24 hours of admission and visit the Assessment Office for a cost estimate.
