We are able to do many studies on this machine including angiographies, venography, breast imaging, pituitary studies, perfusion studies, spectroscopy, etc. apart from the routine scans of brain, spine, extremities, joints, gall bladder, biliary system, pelvic organs (uterus and ovaries in females and prostate in males).

128 Slice Philips Incisive Dual Source CT scanner- At present we have a 128 Slice Philips Incisive Multi-detector CT Scan. Incisive CT helps  offers intellect at every step from acquisition through results. Its CT Smart Workflow helps with advanced Data Acquisition technology automatic patient positioning and so much more to aid successful exams with fast results at low dose. From motion-free cardiac imaging to interventional procedures  are advances that improve our day-to-day imaging. Multiplanar Imaging along with facilities of 3-dimensional reconstruction has also improved the diagnostic abilities.

CT scans of various parts of the body are done – Head, Neck, Paranasal sinuses, Temporal Bone, Thorax, Abdomen (Liver, Gall bladder, pancreas, kidneys, adrenal glands, stomach and intestines),  Spine, Angiography (Brain, Neck, Pulmonary, Cardiac, Abdominal Aorta, Renal, Upper limbs and Lower limbs), Triple phase CT scan for liver, pancreas, kidneys and adrenal glands Angiography and much more.

Digital Mammography- Our Full-field Digital Mammography (FFDM) Unit is operated by dedicated female technologists. The efficiency of digitalised mammography unit enables us to acquire better images with a lower radiation dose and aids in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases in women. Screening mammography is done for the patients above the age of 40 years.

High end Ultrasound and Portable Ultrasound & X ray unit- We also provide services to critically sick patients who are admitted in various ICUs and are on ventilator through mobile/portable X-ray units and also portable ultrasound facility.

We have five Ultrasound machines at five different stations to cater to the needs of the different wards and departments of the hospital and to offer specific services to specific medical needs.

We have two High-end Philips Affinity 30 Ultrasound machines dedicated only for the Obstetrics and Gynae services where we do antenatal scans and also scans for the patients with gynaecological problems.

For private patients from the OPD and IPD, there is a separate Ultrasound unit within the private OPD area at present.

Digital X-Ray suites Comprehensive bone Density (DEXA) scanning-Our Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA Scan) plays an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis by measuring bone mineral density (BMD). It is not only quick and painless, but is also more effective than normal X-rays in identifying low bone mineral density.

Our highly skilled Interventional Radiologist is capable in doing various interventional procedures as below and not limited to following

  • CT & Ultrasound guided FNAC/biopsy(Renal,Solid organ lesions, Bone and paraspinal lesions etc)
  • USG guided Liver, chest and other organ fluid collection/ abscess drainage procedures
  • Percutaneous Nephrostomy (PCN)
  • Pig-tail drainage tube insertion
  • Percutaneous catheterisation of internal jugular vein for hemodialysis
  • Variety of musculoskeletal and pain relief procedures like intra articular injections for early recovery of patients
  • We successfully perform more than 1000 procedures every year.
  • Abdominal (CT/MRCP/MRI)
  • Musculoskeletal (Orthopaedics and Trauma)
  • Mammography, MRI and X ray
  • General X Rays
  • Ultrasound
  • HSG (hysterosalpingography), RGU-MCU(retrograde urethrography and micturating cystourethrography)
  • Sinogram/Fistulogram
  • IVU (intravenous urogram)
  • Barium studies

Modern imaging technology such as Digital Radiography and Computed Radiography with PACS/RIS & HIS system facility is available. We perform our radiology services with the latest protocols and ALARA acquisition as well as image archiving helping in the treatment of the patients.
