Inpatient Services
- Admission
- 70% of the hospital beds are earmarked for general patients, where care is subsidised by the hospital.
- 30% beds are in the private wards.
All patients will be required to pay an advance as specified by the Assessment Officer at the time of admission. Ordinarily, only cash is accepted for all payments. Personal cheques are accepted only with the permission from the management.
- Articles to be brought along when a patient is admitted:
Those who are planning to undergo elective surgery are requested to get admitted before 5:00 p.m. so that all the doctors who are required to see the patient before surgery will examine and explain the procedure to them.
- Visiting Hours:
General Ward patients are not allowed any attendant, except when ordered by the doctor.
No male family members (Attendants) are allowed in the female general wards (maternity) except during visiting hours. Attendant pass is issued on the recommendation of the doctor.
- Diet Arrangements for the patients:
- Discharge
Patients are advised to collect the discharge summary before leaving the hospital. If you leave the hospital against medical advice, you are not eligible for discharge summary.
Those who require charge slip details for reimbursement purpose should request them at the time of discharge.
If you need to leave the hospital in an emergency, you can do so after paying an advance. You may come later for the final bill.
